We built SoVere specifically because we believe your family's data is none of our business. This policy explains what little we do collect on this website — and why.
The SoVere app is fully offline. Student records, grades, transcripts, and all educational data stay on your machine and are never transmitted to us or anyone else. This policy covers only the soverepath.com website.
Unplugged Technologies, LLC ("we," "us," "our") is the maker of SoVere, an offline-first homeschool learning management system. Our website is soverepath.com. To reach us: contact@soverepath.com
We collect only what you voluntarily submit through our web forms:
We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any behavioral tracking tool on this website. We do not collect IP addresses, device fingerprints, or browsing behavior.
Waitlist email addresses are used solely to notify you when SoVere launches or when pricing is announced. Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with any third party for marketing purposes.
This website uses two third-party services to operate:
No other third-party services receive your data from this website.
The SoVere desktop application operates entirely offline. All student records, grades, lesson content, transcripts, and family data are stored locally on your own machine in an encrypted database. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. We have no access to it. If you uninstall SoVere, your data remains on your machine until you choose to delete it.
The only optional network feature in the app is browsing the curriculum marketplace, which is a read-only content catalog. No student data is transmitted during marketplace browsing.
This website is directed at parents and adults making purchasing decisions for their families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. All web forms are intended for adult completion only. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information through our website, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
The SoVere application is designed for use by children under parental supervision. Because the app operates fully offline and transmits no data, it does not implicate COPPA data collection requirements. Parents retain full control of all data within the app.
You may request at any time:
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights. We do not sell personal information and never have.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@soverepath.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Waitlist email addresses are retained until you request deletion or until we have sent the launch notification and a reasonable follow-up period has passed. Contact form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry, typically no longer than 12 months.
Form submissions are stored by Netlify over encrypted HTTPS connections. We access them only through authenticated Netlify accounts. No payment information is collected or stored on this website — payment processing, when available at launch, will be handled by a PCI-compliant payment processor.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy at this URL. We will not retroactively reduce your rights without explicit notice.
